I live in a small gated community in South Miami and lately this sweet young bulldog keeps showing up at my front porch begging to come inside and be played with. She belongs to an older lady at the end of my street. Every time I try to take her back to her owner, she is very reluctant and lays down on the ground when i try to gently guide her by the collar. She gets whiny when we finally get close to her house. The owner always welcomes her back with little to no fanfare and never even given me a thank you. I'm starting to believe that this sweet girl is not being treated right, otherwise she wouldn't be running away and her owner would seem happy to have her back. Do I have any options here? It's starting to be a weekly thing.
