My best friend just moved to SC in June from MD and is visiting in 2 weeks for her Bridal shower that I am hosting. She told me in February (the 15th) that her dog has fleas. This morning that she said "it's a lot better but she doesn't trust it" when I asked how the fleas situation was going. She doesn't plan on bringing her dog into our house any more (the dog will either stay with her parents or stay home with her Fiance). What precautions should I take having her and her clothes in my house? or should I put her up in a hotel or something so I don't get fleas. I have a dog and a cat and will be watching my mom's dog (My mom had fleas 4-5 years ago and certainly doesn't want them again).
Also I can't move the bridal shower because I already put down deposit - sent invites - her wedding is soon and don't have time yada yada yada. She has to be there obviously.
