I would like to get a pet that interacts with humans and is okay with being left alone occasionally. I work from home 2 days a week and have to going to the office 3 days a week but I have to stay in a hotel because I live far away from the office. I have a housemate that could check on the pet now and again when I'm not there but sometimes stays at their parents and I also think it would be unfair to ask them to take care of my pet while I'm away unless it's just a quick check up . I dont think the landlord would allow me to get a cat flap installed.
So are there any pets I could get? I would love a pet but wouldn't want to get one if leaving it alone for 3 days was determental to it
