The time has come for me to say goodbye to my 16yo Westie, but i don't know my other (14yo) dog will take it. They have been together since she was a puppy. I work long hours, and they always kept eachother company. Now, i am planning on buying a cat, but i don't know how to introduce a kitten to her. She's old, and usually chills most of the day, and i think a new pet might even be good for her, but i am also worried about what would happen if that "terrier rodent assassin" instinct kicks in, or if they are left alone for a long time.
Any advice would welcome!
