Hi guys, I wasn't really sure where to post about this so I decided to post here. Anyways today I took my 6 month old standard poodle puppy to his first training class today and I noticed some behavior that I think is aggression. It was a group class and they got to have a bit of off leash play time at the beginning and things went pretty well. He enjoyed playing with the two other puppies in the class and was pretty happy to learn new stuff. What I'm worried about is the fact that I believe I heard my dog growl at a dog he was playing with. The dog that he was playing with came near me and I was giving her pets but then my dog jumped towards her and growled a little. I don't know why he did this but I believe it was aggression because I think I saw him pull his lip up and expose his front teeth when the dog he was playing with got a little too rough. It might just be a puppy thing though because he sneezed when they were play fighting and I'm pretty sure that indicates he's playing. He also kept doing to the play bow so I'm confused as to whether or not he was being aggressive. I also have another thing that isn't aggression or jealousy that happened. Once or twice my dog tried to mount a female dog and I was wondering when is a good time to get him neutered?
