So basically we have always had another pet in the house since my cat was about 4, she has always hated dogs and they have made her uncomfortable but about 3 years ago we got a large dog and she’s been upstairs with a gate because we keep them separate. We have tried to get them together and they are fine being around eachother but my cat chooses to come back upstairs or stay upstairs if she is down there. My mom sleeps during the day and I’m away at school so I assume she’s bored but all she does is meow every few minutes. I feed her every time she meows cuz she needs to gain weight and she ends up stopping for a little bit but it always ends up continuing. Anyone know what she really wants? Right when someone comes into eyesight of her she will meow
