My dog started getting sick 2 days ago, which is not uncommon for her because she has very strange eating habits which can cause her to starve herself until vomiting. It got much worse this morning when I noticed blood in her stool and then evolved to also puking blood. I had to have someone take her to the vet because of work, so I haven't seen her since about 7am and now I know I wont see her again until at least tomorrow after work.
Its killing me, not knowing if shes scared or in pain and what could happen to her over night.
They said they think its pancreatitis and are sending the bloodwork out overnight, hence why they are keeping her. If anyone has dealt with this before and has a happy ending it would really help to ease my mind reading those stories.
