I've just rescued a one-legged budgie who's having a really tough time getting around. It's about 5 months old and can barely stand. I've been feeding it by hand so far, but haven't seen it drink yet. It has a bowl of food and water at the bottom of his cage, but also one of each perched higher up. Is there anything else i can do to help him adapt?
