Nervous birds with an even more nervous owner

Hi folks! So I’ve been trying to find a sub that specifically helps out with birbs but I can’t seem to find an active community. So I hope I can find some help here.

So a while back I got two lovely little love birds. However, they’re quite nervous little things and seems to be afraid to bond with me or anyone else. They are very curious when you speak to them tho so I’m hoping that once they get used to that they’ll be less nervous to interact with myself or family members.

I read up on how to keep love birds and just general bird maintenance but I’d love some pointers and advice on how to best make them feel comfortable at home and around me 🌸
