About a month ago I caught my dog drinking out of the water I take to bed from on my side table, and I realized he’d probably been doing that all the time when he thought I was sleeping. My dog is 6. I’ve probably been literally sharing a drink with my dog for the past 6 years.
So I got big cups that size with lids. I made sweet tea for bed tonight and didn’t drink very much, but it had a lid. I went to go to the bathroom and was gone less than 5 minutes, but my naughty puppy somehow got the tea. I’m not sure how. I’m still confused. He managed to get it off the table, slide the mouth cover part up to expose the drinking spot, and drink the entire 20ish ounces of tea. And he didn’t spill it at all.
I’m impressed. I feel like it’s more likely a ghost poured it into his mouth than that he did all of that so easily. I mean he’s smart, but how did he slide the part to reveal the mouthpiece? He doesn’t have fingers! 24 hour vet said he’ll probably have diarrhea but otherwise should be fine.
It’s 4am here.
I love him more than anything. I’m only a little bit annoyed, I’m mostly just intimidated by his raw power. How did he do it?
