SOS - I'm moving apartments, and my old place is infested with fleas. I want to limit the amount of fleas in the new place. I'm trying to decide whether to flea bomb my old apartment and then move my stuff, or to move everything and treat the new place. More details below.

My old apartment isn't on central air, but I'm concerned about the gas negative affecting my neighbors and their pets. I would be devastated if I harmed someone else or their pets. However, the fleas are out of control. You immediately have fleas crawling on you after entering my apartment. I've been trying to get rid of the fleas for nearly 8 months now and I can't seem to get rid of them for more than a short period of time (clearly I'm not killing the eggs).

My cats are at the new place and are wearing Sentry collars which seem to be working, but the fleas live in my clothes and bedding. Luckily my SO has furniture, so I can leave the flea stuff at my old place until this coming Monday. The new place is isolated and there would be no issue affecting other people with the flea bomb. I am very stressed about this whole situation. It's difficult to parse information online because there is so much and most of it seems to be promoting certain products. I just want my cats to be healthy and live in peace (also me).

Should I bomb my old place before moving stuff or move everything and treat the new place?

Plz help. Any insight or experiences with fleas are welcomed!
