Hello all,
This is being posted after contacting this subreddit’s moderators for permission.
I am an assistant professor supervising a student who is conducting research on memorialization tattoos and the grief process. She is hoping that those who are over 18 years of age, in the United States, and have at least one tattoo memorializing a loved one (human or animal) will consider taking this 30 item IRB approved anonymous survey.

This is my student's introduction to her study: "I am a Master of Social Work student at the University of North Florida, and I am conducting a study that is exploring the relationship between memorialization tattoos and how people grieve, through an online survey. This research speculates that memorialization tattoos are a reasonable, although individualized, tool to help process one’s grief. Moreover, we hope that the study will show how tattoos may help the grieving person transition from a place of feeling “stuck” in their grief and will explore this by examining the influence of memorialization tattoos on the process of grief."
Thank you so much for considering taking the time to complete this survey. We are very sorry for your loss.
