My robo Hamtaro has been acting strange lately. I'm on day 10 of having her, and for the past 3 days, I haven't actually seen her eat. She is typically timid/skittish and tends to run away to a hamster wheel upon sight of my hand, while her sister that I picked up with Hamtaro calmly comes to my hand to sniff it and take any treat now.
Sometimes, Hamtaro will come to my hand to sniff it, but that is the extent of it. Just yesterday, however, she came to my hand on three different occasions, and the first time she bit my hand till I bled, the second and third time were nibbles until I pulled away. I tried with a plastic+metal spoon and she walked up to the spoon instead of the treat on it, and bit the plastic part. Then I tried with a full metal spoon and she bit the metal part on the handle, then gave up, and walked away from the treat.
Now, on day 10, I've been watching her and all she does is non stop run, or go to sleep. I happened to see her biting on her plastic hamster wheel this time though. She would run very fast, stop and take a break to bite the wheel, then repeat. I moved her to the play pen and there was the same problem. She expresses curiosity on what treats I have to offer her today, but she only comes up to the chew toys, treats, seeds, sniffs it, then runs away. I even tried putting peanut butter on the chew toys.
Any suggestions on what to do? Someone suggested I check her teeth but I don't wanna do this because she doesn't trust me yet.
