Hello,
I recently just got a 3 month old kitten (spayed, up to date with shots) who has been here for about 4 days. I recently noticed that she has blood in her stool (at the very end of her turd). Immediately, I am trying to make a vet appointment but most offices aren’t available until a few weeks from now.
In the meantime, what can I do? I’m worried sick.
I think I’m going to go pick up canned pumpkin to help her stools (they’re a bit soft and noodly, not firm). I’ve been mixing her new food with her old food to introduce her to it, and she eats it right up. I also know she’s snuck out the room once and encountered the resident cats and understandably got scared, so I am wondering if stress could be the issue too.
Other than that, she is still her normal self. She loves to play and purr and has the zoomies, but the blood in the stool is freaking me out.
Any tips or advice?
