Hey everyone,
So I have a 7 year old Beagle. She's the absolute best, I owned a Beagle growing up and when I turned 21 got a young female. She's my best bud, the type of dog that's down for whatever you want to do.
"We goin hiking?! Sure! Sleep all day? Sweet! Snowshoeing during a blizzard in February? Yes sir!" type of dog.
My wife is 38 weeks pregnant with our first child and lately, my dog has been acting up in ways I haven't seen since she was a pup. Last night she peed on the mat next to her bed, we left for 45 minutes this evening and she pooped on the floor, she has managed to find baby toys in ares of the house she isn't allowed in and NEVER goes too, managed to snoop out some snacks and ate them (for a Beagle she has incredible restraint and has always seemed to know when food isn't hers).
I'm very nervous that this is something that won't stop and will make our lives miserable once baby gets her. I love my pup so much, I hate feeling angry at her.
Anybody have any ideas why she might be acting out?
