My cat is about 9, a bit of a chonk, food motivated. She knows shes not allowed on dressers and food prep surfaces] I moved states to get closer to my bf, she is staying at his place since it's a whole house and im there more often. She has been adjusting to another cat, but its an ancient granny who is sweet and doesn't bother her. I know cats are complex, this is a newer behavior and i understand she could be acting out due to the changes. I already tried sticky paws, she didnt care, squirt guns don't work either. She was going for the butter dish and licking the plate[we have contained the butter and removed anything else she might get into] anybody have any suggestions?
