To make it brief, I have three cats who have always been indoor outdoor cats. I was in a single-family detached home with them for three years now I am on the fourth floor walk up apartment. My gut tells me to keep them inside but I’m wondering if I let them out will they come back all the way up to the fourth floor apartment? I want them to be happy and I know they will adjust but I want to make sure I’m doing the right thing. If I let them out to go play and explore, will they be able to find their way home?
