Today a cat fell from 4th floor infront of me. It was bleeding pretty bladly from its mouth and looked like it had broken its legs(it was not able to walk). I had no idea what to do in this situation. I just stood there , staring at it with blank mind for 5mins, untill it's owners arrived and took it. I have never owned a pet and had pretty much zero interactions with any kind of animal in the past.I had absolutely no idea how to comfort it atleast for a brief moment. I wish, I had known or done something to comfort it. I was slightly afraid the cat might bite me if i approched it. It would be helpful if you guys can guide, so that i can be more helpful in these situations.
I am not sure what pronoun(in english) i am supposed to use for a cat, we use "it" in my native language. Hope that dosen't offend anyone.
