We are moving with out cat from a 4 person household to a two person household so my cat is going to have less people to fuss and play with him. I already have his favourite playtime toys like da bird, plastic springs, mice and string but he doesn't take any interest in playing with these on his own.
Does anyone have any suggestions for good toys to leave around the house that may be interesting for him when we are out or I am working (at home). He's quite food orientated so I was thinking of using those treat toys and putting his dry food in them instead of the bowl but I don't know which toy would be best for him particularly as we have hard floors and it's harder to roll stuff on it. I cant think of any other good toy suggestions that might encourage him to play on his own.
He is a 4 year old Korat and an only cat who hates other cats so getting him a friend isn't an option (although I would love another!).
