I have never had a pet. I recently adopted a cat but the amount of scratches on my body convinced me to return him to shelter. Scratches were not intentional, it’s just that cats’ nails are super sharp and even when they hug you, you’re scratched and may even bleed. Also, cats’ teeth is sharp and once I tried to feed him by putting a piece of chicken on my palm. He bit my palm so bad that I had to go to the doctor.
So now, I’m out of getting a cat phase. Would I have the same problem if I get a dog?
