I’m so sad tonight. Last weekend I adopted a small dog from an animal shelter. The dog supposedly got along with cats/dogs. She was very sweet to me. But she was aggressive and herding my older cat - who does not have claws. My cat has been in hiding in my basement all week. Each day was getting worse. My cat is usually outgoing. My cat likes dogs....and she was buddies with my previous dog who passed in January. I’m so sad and already miss her so much. I wish I didn’t take her back to the shelter but I felt so awful for my cat. I’m just bawling now!.
