Help!! Hamster has developed gaping wound in stomach almost overnight!

I’ve had my Syrian hamster for at least 2 years and she’s always been totally healthy, been fed a variety of foods, and to be honest I’m surprised she’s lasted this long. Tonight (it’s 1am) I heard her running around so I went to feed her a little snack, and as she stood against the bars I caught a glimpse of a gaping wound (about as big around as a pea, or two) in her lower abdomen (looks about where her genitals were/are.) Again, it’s 1am so I cannot take her to the vet, and she seems fairly normal- running around, alert, etc. I’m honestly horrified and pretty sure that this is the end for her- she’s old and this seems like a serious wound- but am just confused as to what happened and what to do now. What do I do? Has anyone had this happen? I cleaned her cage within the past week and she was totally fine when I took her out then, so whatever this is happened very quickly. I know hamsters don’t live very long and I wasn’t overly attached to her, but it does horrify me to think of her in pain and I don’t want to prolong her suffering. Please help- I don’t know what my options are.
