[help] my dog ate a little onion

[ My dog ate a slice of onion

I was eating a burger and a slice of onion off the burger slipped off and my dog got to it before i was able to get it away from him.

I know onions are toxic to dogs but will he be okay?? He’s 9 months and 32-35 lbs

Please help :(
