So, my wife and I's one-year old pup had some fleas, which he seemed to have a pretty adverse reaction to which caused his scrotum to get pretty raw from his chronic licking and chewing at it. We got the fleas taken care of, took him to the vet yesterday (September 13th), where the vet gave him an antibiotic shot and prescribed us with Gabapentin for the pain and Apoquel for itch relief which has remedied his ailments. But, he is acting very exhausted and is still fairly withdrawn which isn't normal for him. He still is eating and drinking well, having regular bowel movements and is urinating normally. But chronically just resting under our bed.
Am I just being anxious and those two medications are just helping him rest and recover? Should I allow for a few more days to see where he's at behaviorally? Or should I be a little concerned
