how can I help newly adopted, orphaned kitty with her anxiety

so yesterday I took in a very young (3 week old) female kitten. my friend found her on the street near his house and discovered she was the only one in the whole litter to survive, including the mom. it was super sad but she now has a warm and loving home.

the only problem is she’s clearly searching for the special attention that a kitten this small typically gets from its mother. she’s cries a lot. sometimes it’s for food of course (i’m bottle feeding) but a lot of time it’s just for attention. she actually slept in my bed with me last night because the carrier, despite me making it really cozy, made her anxious. she slept under my comforter by my feet all night.

I just want to know how to make her happy and content as possible. she’s very into me, sleeps on my shoulder, is currently licking my calf, and climbs all over me, but i can tell she wants her mom and i love her so much i want her to be so happy.

anyone been in the same spot and have any advice?
