My cat found a mouse go into our roof tonight. He’s an indoor cat so he was just jumping at the window and the little dude popped out of a hole in the roof. I really don’t want to kill the mouse but my family wants it out of the roof for obvious reasons. I found a bucket trap so we can take it to a field but I don’t want the mouse to die of stress inside. They’d only be in there for a night and I think it’s just one mouse. What can I put in the bucket to calm it down? Food? Water? All suggestions are welcome but it would be great to know from anyone who has a pet mouse. Thanks!
