My cat Craig is almost 2 years old. He was always healthy and generally happy. A month ago he was vaccinated. It seems like it was an overdose, cause after that he ripped off all the fur from the tip of his tail and continued to lick it any moment he saw it. Now his behavior is fully normalized, fur on the tail is recovering. But the problem is that he still periodically licks his tail intensively if he sees it. Is it because the tail isn’t fully recovered? Will the problem go away after it recovers? Should I even do anything about it?
