My cat (3, neutered male) has been having this weird meow for about 24 hours and it literally sounds like a frog croaking or a duck quacking or something. We got a new kitten a few days ago, and he’s been doing pretty well with her. He still has some adjusting to do and he’s a little anxious, but overall they get along alright so far. We also live in Seattle, and our air quality has been pretty bad because of all the nearby wildfires. We’ve been keeping the windows shut most of the day, so maybe it’s from the smoky air? Or maybe it’s just anxiety from the new kitten? Has anyone else ever experienced this? I feel so bad because he sounds so weird!
