So we just adopted a new kitten about three weeks ago. The kitten is a male. We currently already have a 10 year cat that is female. The first week and half it didn't go so well. After that we started letting the kitten roam freely in the house. Sometimes he would nap in our room. A week and half later we are having issues. Our older cat seems to tolerate him pretty well except when she doesn't want to play. She does get mad when he tries tries to eat her food at the same time as her or even drink out of the same water container. She hisses at him rarely now. The biggest issue is our older cat won't sleep in our bed anymore. She goes down into base and sleeps on the guest bed. Is she still getting used to the kitten or will this be her new place.?
