So I rehomed my animal during the start of the pandemic and I loved them dearly. I gave the new owner everything of theirs, including their vaccination, and spay information. I rehomed them completely for free on the condition of getting updated and them being returned if they were ever unwanted. However I just got a call from the microchip company saying they were found(I originally assumed this was the new owner simply taking them to the veterinarian) but then I received a call regarding them from a spat/neuter clinch at a shelter. I’m wondering what could have happened here, I’m unable to reach the new owner. If they are at the shelter I want to go get them but if they simply were at a veterinary appointment and the new owner is simply taking good care of them I don’t want to take them from the new owner.
