I'm currently sheltering an abandoned pregnant cat as no shelter near me will take her. I will be rehoming her and the kittens at 8 weeks.
I've treated her for fleas but I just realized she has tapeworm. She is very far along in pregnancy and I'm unsure what to do. My understanding is she cannot receive tapeworm medication while pregnant? But I don't know what to do now or when I can treat her, during lactation or does it have to be after the kittens are weaned? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
