This is the third time I'm posting regarding this topic, since I did not get many responses from r/askvet and r/petcare. I am also typing out all details about my interactions with this cat, just so people can pick up on something unusual that I've overlooked.
There's this tabby cat that started visiting us in late April, heavily pregnant and afraid to come close to us. We used to feed her whiskas dry food through our window. She stopped visiting for around two weeks, and when she returned, it was obvious she had given birth (at an unknown location). She slowly decided to trust me, and would purr/rub against my legs. In late May, I treated her for fleas. She disappeared again for a while and returned in June with a swollen belly. I assumed she was pregnant again and continued feeding her.
I know it is best to get cats spayed, and I would've definitely done so, but all the vet clinics near us have been shut due to coronavirus. The problem is, her belly is still distended, mostly just the lower part of her abdomen. I no longer think she's pregnant as she seems way past the normal gestational period. Two weeks ago, I noticed a rice-like worm in her feces and gave her half a tablet of 'Defender Nex' (1 tab= 20mg Prazinquantel, 230 mg Pyrantel Pamoate).
She seemed fine after taking it, and I didn't find any worms in her feces after that. However, she still has a swollen belly. She also sneezes on occasion. A new and more disturbing development is that she has become irritated and aggressive for the past two days. She is usually very friendly, purrs a lot, headbutts me, etc. Yesterday, I fed her, lightly petted her while she purred, and walked for a while with her. Then, as I turned to leave, she attacked my leg. Didn't break skin, no scratch marks, but she grabbed my leg and sort of bit it. Then she sat two feet away and glared at me. I got freaked out and left. Today, once again, I fed her but kept my distance (around 4 feet) while she ate. When she was done eating, she purred, rubbed against my legs and suddenly bit me.
Another possibly relevant info is that she has a friend of sorts who sleeps with her in the house I built for her. She used to let him eat her leftovers. Since yesterday, I started leaving food for him in a different bowl. They seem to have an amicable relationship.
I'm not sure what to do now, I tried contacting a vet online but most of them are charging in USD, and I don't have international transactions enabled on my card. Can someone please advise me?
Tl;dr: Adult cat has had distended belly for more than 2 months, has some respiratory symptoms, no fleas, not spayed, maybe residual worms? Cat has suddenly gotten aggressive.
