She had her cone on for a few hours but once the anesthesia wore off she got out of it and now she won't let anyone near her. We tried everything we could think of. She has always been a very skittish cat. Even under normal circumstances things would always have to be on her terms and the vet even gave us meds to calm her down just so we could trim her nails.
How bad will it be if we can't get the cone or the recovery onsie on her? I've been monitoring her with it off for a couple hours and she licked it a couple of times but otherwise just left it alone.
