Hi, I just recently got a kitten and I'm having a difficult time telling if my dog and cat will get along. My dog is a Golden Retriever, and he is extremely friendly. Today while introducing him to the kitten, he got a little excited and nipped at her, so we separated them.
I have her in my room with me at the moment, and my dog came in a bit ago (he can open doors himself lol) and he jumped up in bed with me and stared at the kitten, breaking eye contact every few seconds and looking around the room. Is it safe for me to try and teach them to get along/used to each other?
