Long story short I rescued a stray, she had lots of problems but the infection, parasites, and fleas are all gone. We dewormed twice because she had 3 types of worms and the tapeworms were stubborn.
We’ve gone to the vet 6 times and I’m calling them tomorrow to see the results of the third stool sample. But she has been having diarrhea for almost 2 months now; she isn’t losing weight and is drinking a good amount of water. I’m leaning towards a food allergy and was wondering if anybody has tried doing a special food elimination diet to see what their pet was allergic to? How do you start it and what tips or advice do you have to make it most accurate or successful??
