Is it something that they look for during (virtual) home visits? I've never had a cat before, so I thought I would wait to buy supplies until after being approved for adopting a particular cat. This way, I can ask the shelter/foster parent what type of food, litter, toys, etc. that specific cat enjoys and then just get the same stuff. But I don't want to look unprepared during the pre-adoption screening and house visit. What do you think? Thanks!
