Hi guys, I really need help and advice because I am losing my mind here. I’ve had my cat (BMO) since May and he is 18 months.
He is super friendly and kind and loving, we have a good bond! Unfortunately due to landlords he had to move in with my boyfriend and has been living there since August, but he comes here for a week or so every so often. (Is that okay? Or is that not really good on BMO?)
Anyway, whilst he’s been here pretty much most morning at 6am he begins to make a howl kind of sound and then he just goes crazy, like the cat zoomies but destructive, he scratched the hell out of my bed and tries to get my feet and even scratched my face this morning. It’s getting really draining as I am losing a lot of sleep to him, when I shut him out he meows and claws at the door so I can’t sleep.
I feel like it could be because he’s hungry but I don’t want to give in and feed him because he will assume that’s how he gets his food! If it’s not food does he just want me awake to give attention and play?
How can I stop it, or at least post pone the madness till like 9am!
