My cat has become obese over the last couple of years, (7 yrs old in human years) it all started after she got spayed. She’s blown up and weighs roughly around 15 pounds. It’s gotten to the point where she has trouble cleaning her butt area and I have to keep her hair short, I have her on hills science diet dry food but am open to recommendations, the price is not a problem. She’s been on this food for about a year and ive seen some improvement but not a whole lot, I feel bad putting her on a scheduled feeding so I have her food laid out all day, I’ve started putting the food up at night though. I would really love advice, or help if you have gone thru this I know it’s not good for cats to lose weight fast but I can’t help but feel like if I don’t change her habits she won’t live a long life. Shes not too active but I have gotten her toys over the couple of months and she loves them. I’m literally open to anything.
