This is my first year living away from my family and I am trying to plan my holiday travel plans in advance. So I have two options, either pay $$ for a flight or the cheaper option of driving 12 hours. The flight would obviously be easier but it's super expensive and I don't know if it's the smartest decision at this time. If I were to drive it would be an extended stay at home (at least two weeks up to a month) which means I would have to bring my cats. Just wondering if there is anyone out there that does frequent long car drives with their cats? Would this be more stressful for them to go back and forth or should I just cough up the money for a flight for a quick trip? Any advice would help!!
