My cat is about two years old and, according to the vet, he is in perfect physical health. He also is evil, constantly hungry, and looking for food in all places.
Four hours before dinner and one hour after, he acts like he is starving the whole time. I have tried small meals but he is not satisfied and always wants more.
He also constantly wants human food, even though I quite rarely give it to him. If I’m cooking, he is on the counter. If I’m eating food, he’s sticking his face in my plate. He reaches out to grab food from my hand. He tears apart bags and boxes...I came into the kitchen to discover that he tore open a giant bag of baking soda I had because he thought there was food in there.
How do I stop this horror? My vet said play with him more, he has plenty of vertical space and we play all the time. Otherwise, don’t know I good solution.
