Introducing new cat to dogs

Hi everyone. I have two dogs (ages 2 and 7) and both were raised with cats. My 19 year old cat passed in December from age related illness and I told my husband last month I think I might be ready for another furry companion. Well he's just come home from work telling me his co-worker is rehoming her 1 year old cat and he said if I want him he's mine. The cat has never been around dogs, and I'm mainly just thinking how to go about introducing and helping the cat adjust to my 2 yr old dog, who isn't big on personal space lol. My 7 yr old dog will be curious but not in the cats face (I fostered a kitten when she was younger and she was great with her). I'm thinking initially my hubby and the dogs can sleep in the guest room while kitty and I sleep in the main room, though my hubby is a shift worker and works 5 day blocks that include night shift, so I'm trying to work out the logistics of when he's not home. Or just hopefully get them used to each other quickly enough that we can all just sleep in the same room lol

I'm probably totally overthinking it, but I'd love some advice. Thank you!
