This happened today. Im staying with my mom and a few hours ago my mom just came home from doing an errand and saw a kitten stuck somewhere in the back of house. It's parents eat on the porch everyday and when the car pull up, they instantly ran away leaving the kitten behind. My mom got it out and somehow clawed around her shirt and i grabbed it bare hand.
The point is that both our scents are now the kitten and i was afraid it would be rejected by its parents. Because it was a bit chilly where i live, we put it in a box with old clothes. Sadly it came true it was rejected by the parents and the aunt. My mom then bought some kitten milk. We’ve been taking care of it since 6pm. I showed the kitten to my oldest and she hissed. She didn’t do anything drastic or anything. Its been 17 days since the passing of my other cat, and my oldest is still grieving and because of this situation; how do i introduce the kitten to her.
