Opinions on American Journey (and other affordable) Cat Food

What are your opinions on American Journey dry & wet cat food? They are a Chewy brand and affordable considering their ingredient list. I am getting a 4-month-old kitten soon and plan on putting him on their poultry wet & dry food. Has anyone had any experience with them? Did your cats like it?

I also considered Tractor Supply's 4Health All Life Stages, Kirkland Maintenance Chicken and Rice, Kirkland Nature's Domain, and Petco's WholeHearted wet foods since they are all in the more affordable range. Tiny Tiger's canned foods also seem really affordable and has good ingredients, but a lot of reviews say that their cats throw up on it or don't like it.

Ultimately, I am still leaning on American Journey because they seem to have the most protein and least added ingredients. What do you think of these brands? Can you make a recommendation on affordable and quality wet/dry foods that I can look into? I am a first-time cat owner so any help will be greatly appreciated!
