We’ve had the family dog for 5 years and for the most part he’s been indifferent to me in favor of my sister, brother, or mom. I’ve been home from college since March, and besides a little extra attention the first week, it was pretty normal, with him only paying me any attention when I was the only one home.
This has all changed over the past few weeks and I’m not sure why. I haven’t really treated him any differently than before. He is literally glued to my side. Follows me around all day, sleeps with me at night. The whole shebang.
The only possible change I can think of is that I’ve kept my room pretty tidy since the start of the semester and since then he’s seemed to like sleeping on my futon. But I don’t feel like that would cause such a drastic change in behavior?
Curious if anyone had any similar experiences to this or insight into this.
