Advice for traveling with a kitten (24 h flight)

Hello all

This year I decided to visit my parents in EU for Christmas. I have a cat and I want to take her with me. It’s a 14 h flight but in total (getting to the airport, waiting times, etc) the whole journey might take up to 24 hours. Usually when I travel I leave my cat home with my fiancΓ© or with some friends but this year my fiancΓ© is coming with me and I have no one to leave her with. She's 5-6 months old and its going to be her first time on a plane.

I would be really happy if someone could give me some advice. Can I even keep my 6 month old kitten in a carrier for that long? How do I give her food and water on the way? How will she go to the toilet if she needs to? To anyone with some experience, or tips, I’d be really grateful for some help.
