So I've been applying nail caps to my 13 week old cat, and so far, it's gone pretty well. After a bit, she usually stops biting at them and they've saved out couches. But today I did her nails and she tried to move before I'd pressed down the cap but after I had already slid it over her nail, her nail retracted halfway and now I think it's stuck in that place. Will she be able to groom herself enough to get the glue residue off so she can retract her nail? It doesn't seem to be hurting her (she's licking at all her claws the way she usually does after a nail day) but I still feel really bad. What should I do?
