Hello everyone,
We are hoping for a holiday miracle. On Friday, Ethiopian Airlines lost our cat in cargo during our connecting flight in Addis Ababa. We suspect he may still be around the airport and hope someone or a shelter may know of his whereabouts.
This ordeal has been horrific and traumatizing for our family. We reserved a cabin seat for our cat a week in advance with the airline. As soon as we were seated, one of the staff informed us that Leo, our cat, has to go to cargo without giving us an explanation, just assured us that he will be handed to us at the connecting flight. It wasn't until his disappearance when we found out the airline erroneously overbooked pets in cabin. The airline did confirm he is in Addis and are allegedly searching for him. We were told to get a lawyer, but are hoping that he will be reunited with us.
He had a purple collar the day we traveled. The photo is a recent picture of him. Please let us know if you have seen him.
