My cat has been obsessively licking her belly for about 6 weeks. It’s not raw or anything, but the fur is about 1/8” now in a big patch on her little tummy.
I haven’t changed her food, nothing at home has changed, and she’s acting normally otherwise. No litter box issues and no more vocalization than is normal.
COVID is pretty bad in my area right now so the vet is backed up and her appointment isn’t until mid-January. I’ve googled but most things I’ve found have concurrent symptoms like behavioural or litter based.
Anyone else experience this? If it matters, she’s 4 and a shorthair dilute calico.
