I have 4 indoor cats 3F and 1M, all are fixed. I’ve had them all together for 5 years now and they have never liked each other so they avoid each other but it hasn’t been an issue until now. 2 of my female cats have started ganging up on the third F and they hit her any chance they get. She’ll be sleeping on my bed or hanging out by the window sill and they will run at her to start fighting with her. It’s been happening for about a month now and I feel really bad because once I get them off of her she starts having this dry hacking cough like if she were trying to get a hair ball out. I’ve tried putting them in separate rooms but as soon as I reintroduced them they go back to hitting her. Anyone have suggestions to why this is happening and what I can do to make them stop?
