A few days ago my 5 year old cat got out and was attacked by a coyote and suffered pretty traumatic injuries. He has stitches up and down his hind legs and he broke two bones in his right ankle. He had to have surgery to repair torn ligaments and will be in recovery for a while. Typically, my cat sleeps with me in bed and he has been whining every night for me to let him sleep with me. I’m terrified he’ll jump off in the middle of the night and will need another surgery. Do y’all have any advice for the bed issue? Should I just stand my ground or is there something I can do to make it safer for him? Also, any tips for overall life with a cast would be appreciated. Thank you!
